At ReKindle Candle Company, we are committed to using ingredients and practices that are in the best interest of our customers and the environment. We believe that our planet should be cared for in a way that shows respect and appreciation for all that it gives us. Our goal is to make products that are better for you and the environment while enhancing your surroundings and well-being.

All of our candles are handmade from soy wax and are VEGAN (no beeswax or other animal by products and no animal testing). The soy wax we use is the purest on the market. It is free from pesticides and herbicides, is biodegradable and non-toxic and is made from soybeans that are grown in the United States. We use 100% natural, plant based oils to scent our candles. Our wicks are made from lead-free unbleached cotton.  We only buy from companies located in the United States. We also offer candle accessories (made by a U.S. Company). Sorry, no fancy packaging to excuse a $30 price tag here. We aim to use as little packaging as possible. When packaging is necessary, we aim to make the most environmentally friendly choice possible. Because of the nature of soy candles in particular, containers are often necessary. However, to decrease the environmental impact, we offer reusable containers. The clear labels that you find on most of our products are made from corn and are biodegradable. Our metal tealight cups are recyclable and our plastic tealight cups are reusable. If your package includes bubble wrap or packing peanuts, they are reclaimed (at least second use). Please reuse any packaging that you can or take it to your local mailing/shipping store or UPS store for reuse. In addition, most of our marketing materials (postcards, business cards, etc.) are printed on recycled paper with vegetable based inks.

The founder of ReKindle Candle started the company with the intent of producing the most eco-friendly candle available on the market. In her research, it wasn't long before she found out the dirty (literally) little secrets about conventional (paraffin/petroleum) candles.
